Teamsters Be Gettin Feisty

It gets a bit tricky because it's illegal.

 

I live inside a right to work state, meaning you can’t be forced to join a union, but they have the right to fire you for no reason too.

 

No sir. I’d like everyone to achieve their goals and dreams. It takes backbone to take and earn what you want. Can’t rely on others to get it for you. You have to be smarter, meaner, and tougher to win. No union can do that. Unless you have some serious handicaps, poverty is a choice. One of the guys from my platoon got both his legs blown off. Didn’t stop him one bit. Just wrote a book and within one week it’s on Amazon’s best seller list at number two. I know it will be number one in the country. He also is a commentator on a cable news channel at least once or twice every week sometimes host shows completely. America is a wonderful country. There are so many opportunities. If you need to have roommate it’s because you have no ambition. It’s a disease that cripples the youth. Everybody has to feel sorry for everybody. Nobody believes they can win. If I worked for a union, there’s no way I would be in a position. I am right now.

 

You have absolutely no clue what kind of common injustices and abuse people were subjected to before they took to organizing labor do you?
Maybe we should have you work for company store credits till you drop over dead in unsafe working conditions, leaving your family in poverty with debt to that company and being evicted from the company owned house you live in.

Nothing makes me sicker than those that spout off at the mouth with no real understanding about what they are saying!

My grandfather was a slave. He was taken off the family farm at 16 and put in a German concentration camp. We have been working as a family showing the world that we can succeed. Don’t need nobody pity. Yes there are injustices, there is slavery today in Malaysia, the Teamsters are not helping any of those people. The teamsters, are an organization, supposedly helping the most spoiled and laziest people on the planet. The ones that they are helping are so much richer than almost anyone else on this planet. If you have lived outside this country, you would think twice about the injustices you call in our country.

 

Right to work is also coming under fire. There is a bill in Congress now. Michigan has already repealed.

Personally I don't believe you should be forced to pay union dues if you don't want to join the union. That was the intent of the original bill. The tacked on part I don't believe in is the part where non members reap the same benefits as due paying members.

I agree, but if you really would get to know me, you would know if I can get something done, pretty much about anyone else could do it a lot easier than I can. @Opus I am short, have bad eye sight, a dork, scrawny, failed 1st grade cause I couldn’t speak English, never got 1st place at anything. I know deep down that I am not that great at anything. I just refuse to give up. It’s a choice. Now I look around and it seems men don’t even care any more. They only want to be happy and comfortable… it’s our job to provide comfort for families, not for ourselves. We are suppose to be the ones that get it done…
