So what. I show i.d. for all kinds of things. The only reason to be against having i.d. is so a certain category of people can vote.

I got IDed to buy 2 hot dogs once.
I delivered to a casino, they were adding on too. Walked into the restaurant part and that’s all they had, as they really wasn’t open yet. But they IDed me, after seeing me drive in and untarp that junk and unchain and unstrap it.

So it does not have anything to do with cheaper insurance?
I would not want to register my vehicle in British Columbia. BC is acronym for bring cash!!!
Area I live in pay a fraction of price for insurance compared to other areas of the country., cuz they suck at driving:D
Has nothing to due with their legal status, only postal code(zip code)

    D.Tibbitt Thanks this.

Always had to have an i.d. and proof of insurance to register vehicle in Tejas. Apparently there has been a network that popped up in the last decade to bypass that. It was connected to the ability to run paper dealer plates and print new ones to extend the expiration dates. The state killed that last year. This is just a second phase of that.

I just renewed my car tags yesterday on the TXT website. I have been using it since it first came out. It may be that my Real ID is also on that site, but i didn.t have to do anything different than last year. And i save $1.00 by doing it online instead of going to the tax office.

It may be to register a vehicle , not renew a registration it’s probably what it’s relating to.
