At my company we are expected to keep our eyes moving, never look in one direction too long ("getting the big picture"). So Scottie looking outwards here and there for a brief moment while returning to the road would be celebrated as proper safety. His camera is attached to his moving head.

Right? Thank you. That's what I've been saying all along. How can anyone argue that keeping your head on a swivel and noticing your surroundings is "distracted" LOL

That's funny you say pets. I recall about 10 years ago there was a "pet cam" being marketed for cats. The idea was to put this cam on your cat and it would timelapse photo every few minutes what the cat sees all night. This was done for research originally to see if cats really do sleep 20 hours a day on average. Turns out they spend a tremendous amount of time awake and are brilliant hunters.

You might as well make sure knee pads come complementary with that camera YouTube driver.

Know who else gets stitches, halpinuout? Innocent people who get hit by some irresponsible idiot that was texting & driving an 80,000lb rig. If they don't get killed.
You better hope I don't catch you texting & driving.... because I WILL snitch on you.

Perhaps you should fill out an application with your local State Police or Sheriffs department.

Right and lets everyone jump on our cell phones and report someone texting so that the emergency line can be tied up preventing someone with a real emergency that needs immediate attention from getting through.
