I've been thinking of getting an additional dash cam to affix on the passenger window..Like you, I was nearly run off the interstate two nights ago.

Perhaps just to put together a video of texting truckers..just a hundred or so short clips in a ten minute video.

I have to agree with this as well. You can clearly see in the video it's raining, congested and traffic in the left lane was at a standstill at the beginning of the vid. Now brake lights are coming on and Scottie is trying to speed up and match Averitts speed to take video of the driver and get his trailer # to tattle, scottie's words. Now tell us again who's distracted.

It's not and I think your forehead cam is a decent idea, but when you see something or someone that catches your attention. You sometimes speed or slow down to try and capture whatever it is on camera. Taking your primary focus off of driving, even if only for a moment. It only takes a second to have a WTF just happened incident.

DOT won't do anything unless they see the person texting doubt the carrier will either unless maybe youre a frantic female with kids.

I walk talk eat drive sleep with the camera and have no problems. It is attached to my forehead. Handsfree. When I turn my head at incidental things, it records what it sees. The beauty is I can aim it at an object and my eyes can look at a different object(s). Do not think I am primarily focused on the same thing the camera is focused on lol. This is chess not checkers.

Its not snitching when I never had any allegiance to these selfish people who never gave a #### about me or my loved ones. To me professional drivers out there who are swerving, randomly slowing, and carelessly texting are the same as that famous fat hairy dude pissing out the door of his truck. I don't care if he calls me a snitch. I see him as a parasite.
