Sucks for you, the ‘79 350 Big cam in my driveway has a/c and power steering. Maybe your boss was just cheap back then?

Swift runs over more things per capita than any other company. At least it seems that way

Covenant.... Teams & team training at a 'religious' company would be my vote.... But I'm not voting. I only worked for one of the listed businesses (Werner). And I live in a glass house.

I'll re-neg my above: if Western Express were on the list I'd vote.... They've discovered every ditch and impassable turn Maine has to offer.

I trained and Prime and still lease at Prime right now, and am relatively happy with my job. It's far from the best job in the industry, but I think it's about as good of a company to start with as one can find. It's no secret that megas aren't the best jobs in the industry, but I think they have their place. They're the only companies willing to take the risk of hiring complete rookies, so start with them, start building a resume, and then find a better carrier. That said, I definitely think CRE is the worst of the megas. I literally can't remember more than 3 drivers I've who were happy with them, and it may only be 1 or 2. The other megas at least have plenty of people advising rookies to start there and leave after a year.

57 MPH in the middle Lane is also dangerous and frustrating for everyone else on the road

I am not one of those lease ops who drives slow for fuel mileage. I go 65 (the speed lease trucks are governed at) and wish I could go faster. :p
