I cant speak for their otr. People I know are saying don't do it. I stay weekends and can get 1000 dollars a week if im lucky. Usually not lucky enough for a load long enough to stay busy a whole weekend... Robert's 450. Pretty sure thats the key anywhere you work. It's easy to get with a company that doesn't have the miles tho.

TokyoJoe Thanks this.

Wow thats ruff. Guess I got it pretty good here with dedicated shippers and receivers.
-
Having run a dedicated route for the last year-and-a-half I don't ever wanna go back to regular freight. -
How are things going there? Saw a pretty mangled up tarp job on a piece of machinery the other day on a system step. Starting to reap what they sew
-
Well if the daily Qualcom safety memos are to be believed, they're firing drivers left and right for unsafe driving violations... Mostly speeding tickets.
fargonaz, Roberts450 and Rugerfan Thank this. -
I didn't think it was possible for a system truck to get a speeding ticket
Roberts450 Thanks this. -
I just talked to a System driver making 43 CPM and he made $48k last year.
That is such crappy pay for an experienced driver it's pathetic. I made $10k more and I never had to tarp a load. AND I'm a less experienced, skilled driver.
Meanwhile over at TWT, I meet drivers that are struggling for 2000-2500 miles a week at 45 cpm. -
They get them in construction zones, 55 cali, residential areas etc.
-
I see they are advertising pretty heavy again. This Saftey push must be to get all the old times out to get fresh meat in that can be trained they way TSI wants them trained. God forbid if a driver can think for themselves.
mitmaks Thanks this.
