I got to see the inside of a T680 sitting in the OKC yard before I head out to Ohio on Friday. Just beautiful inside. But, i'm content with my '13 Pete if their as crappy as you guys are saying with those little intricacies.

Found out what happened with my pay.. and it appears to be operator error. apparently 2 of the 3 loads were not very readable through Camscanner.. I thought they were fine. In their defense, both were a lightly colored printed dot matrix BOL so I can understand how it wouldn't come across that grand. Lesson learned. Billing had me rescan using Transflo and it turned out much better. They weren't sure why the third wasn't paid out.. but i'll get all 3 of those loads on this Friday's check. Someone was supposed to call me to let me know I had to rescan them... but they never did. With the TMW roll-out I have no doubt their plates were full.

Well, I have to say there are a couple of positives with the new TMW system.

Last week was the first run I've done since taking over this route a year ago that I didn't get any error messages back on the Qualcom for failure to depart previous stop. The old system bucked every time I got into BC.

It looks like the new system can handle LTL dispatches as well. The old system just went into meltdown trying to dispatch LTL.

On the negative front, borh dispatches i've been given have been short on loaded miles. I haven't had the chance to talk with any other drivers who know what their miles should be to find out if this is just my problem or system-wide.

I've found mine are "pretty" close.. but I haven't really been watching closely to see how close.. or far off for that matter. I'll see what I come up with the next few dispatches and let ya know @FwL

They don't pay for all the miles both with new TMW or old dispatch system.

That's just it. The old system was already shorting the miles and now on the new system I'm coming up 75 miles shorter for the same trip. They haven't been sending me any routing info so I don't know what's going on.

It should be all in one message...fuel and route. If you see fuel stop you have to scroll ALL they way to bottom of message to see routing.

The route, for me, was always the quickest way to the next fuel stop. My DM was always pretty obliging when I wanted to change fuel stops.

I bought my own scanner and the gypsum customers BOLs were always a pain to scan.

I haven't been given any fuel stops on these last two trips, so no routing info either.

I run the same route every week more or less so the dispatched miles should be in the same ballpark. I don't know where the computer thinks I could drive to shave 75 miles off my trip.

So far my current DM is acting like a deer in the headlights with this new system. I'm probably going to have to wait for my real DM to come back to the job or go over their heads to get this sorted.

I guess only thing you can do is ask for route that they want you to take. They make real stupid routes, like last time Ive delivered to Edmonton and then went to fuel up in Calgary (as per fuel solution) and then route sent me back up to highway 2 to 1 to 93 to Cranbrook to pick up some lumber. Its less miles and easier route to go through Crowsnest Pass (via highway 3)
I dont't know how these idiots figure out miles but its all ### backwards, they were having difficulties and making mistakes with old dispatch system-why did they have to open up whole new can of worms?
