Yea, I thought about that but the ####### probably didn’t take it out of park lol
If he put the transfer case in neutral and left the trans in park he could probably get away with saving the trans but I don’t think he is anywhere near smart enough to do that judging by the picture. -

How thorough is an inspection for a car like this ? I would think an inspection like this would bankrupt a driver .

You might pay a bit more attention to the body, but nothing drastic. The time suck is having to lay on the ground to check the underside. Front, rear, and both sides; because those kind of cars drag on everything!
