    That explains it then. They’ll bend over backwards to avoid paying an hourly driver overtime. FedEx is the same way.

    I actually worked this whole week surprisingly, although im on call this coming monday. The other Estes terminal that is close to us most of their drivers are getting between 45 to 50 hours a week. Here where im at we got at least 3 to 5 people on call and at least 3 to 4 people off every week.

    Estes ain’t a bad place to work. Top out pay for solo OTR is 69 CPM, and teams is 74 cpm. All drop and hook. Can’t complain as long as the miles are coming to you.

    I like hearing all these good things from drivers that work for Estes. I just started 3 months ago as a DDT and I'm looking very forward to going to the driving school soon, would like to eventually be Xtra Board but I will have to do my time as a city driver first I believe. Stay safe driver
