I don’t know about all the math stuff, I just try to bring more money in the front door than goes out the back.
Been a slow year, I’ll finish the year with 23 loads. But I already got one booked for January.

There’s the numbers for the year.

Apart from tolls, via Bestpass, which I’ve not been entering all year. Then a thorough check through misc expenses before submitting to the CPA.

$30k less revenue from last year, a few malfunctions in the last 2 months prevented hitting last years $234k

Dumped another $9,500 into the old girl in December - rear ends rebuilt to 3:55 from 3:70. U joints, carrier bearings, s-cam bushings, slack adjusters, brakes etc. Rebuilt from the rear main seal back so far this year. That would explain the rather high maintenance figure in there.

I’m out of depreciation on equipment after this year, so rebuilding components made sense for deductions.

Time out was loosely tracked this year, about 6 months worked all told. I’m pleased with the overall RPM - I expect 2020 to be similar, still considering options on the direction to take.

    Merry Christmas everyone.

Why is your insurance so high? Do you have your truck valued high? If so consider lowering it. In the event of a total the insurance company is only going to give wholesale value on it, not replacement value.

It includes the 2 trailers and the workman’s comp, and bobtail.

Truck is at 50k, Trailers 28k each.

Not sure what you mean. That’s a screenshot of the Profit guages I use for accounting.

I’m not very good with spreadsheets/computers.

@blairandgretchen - I gotto say you on the right path to retire...despite not a very good year, your numbers are a subject for envy. I think I'll reread the whole thread and follow your footsteps...study every single little post...start with an open deck load securement class at Landstar. LOL

RStewart, Feedman and blairandgretchen Thank this.
