Drivers could face fines if they don't take training course to obtain permit
Commercial vehicles that travel through those quarantined areas of Pennsylvania are required to have a spotted lanternfly permit. Obtaining the permit is free, but drivers must take a two-hour training course on how to check their vehicles for the insect.
State police are already checking for the permits but will give drivers a grace period of about a month. After that, troopers could issue fines of up to $300.
My company told us the fine is up $20.000!!!

My company told us that there are 4 states affected in total so far... NJ counties are Warren, Hunterdon and Mercer.
VA county is Fredericks and DE is New Castle and pretty much areas along DE/PA state line... Also heard that NY is affected also but don't know what the affected areas are....
Very soon the whole country will be affected.... GREAT!!! -

I took the training and have the sticker....but if they can ride my truck then surely they can ride on one of the tens of thousands of cars that leave that area.

If I had crops at risk; I'd release those little green garden snakes. They're non-venomous and eat insects. There's several species of them; California has the most flamboyant.
