Why don’t you just go take a hammer and hit yourself in the foot that give you something else to think about instead of doing something stupid.Just look at the example you got dart and SHneider Pay 10,000 up front 2200 a month for what 6 years then after you do that then they will sell you the truck for another $30000are you insane

let me redact some personal info from me my settlements… I’m only blocking out address, names and personal info.
Yellow highlight is my normal truck payment
$715.00 Truck
$12.00 HUT
$21.99 ATBS dues
$50.00 hometime fund, now required
$798.99 total deduction
Blue was less than normal because I used hometime fund to cover part of it.
red highlight was to show my arrearages from being home for 3 weeks to deal with personal and family affairs.
Green was the normal payment in the same settlement as the one with arrearages.Attached Files:

My lease is through TEL Transport Enterprise Leasing
I pay $715 a week for the tractor, $12 HUT highway use tax, $21.99 to ATBS, they prepare monthly P/L statements (slowly) my taxes and any 1099/w2’s I may have to issue for other drivers or teammates.
My normal truck payment

my lease is 143 weeks at the end I have an $85,812 ballon payment that I can use the balance in my hometime fund, maintenance escrow accounts to pay down if I can’t afford the payment they will extend the lease 6-10 months. If you run the numbers $715x143= $102,245 + the ballon payment. $85,812 + $102,245 = $188,057 paid off in 143 weeks. I would like someone to show me how they bought a 2022 tractor in under 3 years with no money down and for less price than that? I don’t see much interest on that, do you?
I contribute $50 a week to my hometime fund and $0.12 a mile to my maintenance escrow account.
Any questions ask me! I won’t respond to nonsense.Jarhed1964 and Richierich76 Thank this. -
I don't believe it is as simple as trying to find the one good one. I think in order for the process to work you actually need three things. 1, a hard work self starter that understands the business and is willing to do the work, 2, a lease that has fair terms for all parties involved, and 3, an economy that is at least doing ok. If you are missing any of these 3 then it will be much harder to make it work. Not impossible, just much harder.Snow Hater Thanks this. -

I pay $800/year to a cpa and she does all everything and including payroll tax reports, when i had someone driving another truck, I didn’t want to screw someone’s check up and get blamed for doing it on purpose, He’d turn in his paperwork with a trip sheet, showing to/from commodity, pay rate, tonnage/bushel hauled and easy to figure,
easy example, say $20 ton x 25.5 tons$510x his % he knew his part, she paid minus taxes and i checked everything.Opus Thanks this.
