Could be a number of things. Take the access cover off and see if the belt is still in place. Lots of times it will call it quits if the alternator isn't putting out.
-
Belt is fine. It doesn't even try to start. When I turn on control panel it will display ENG several seconds later.
-
Bad alternator would be my guess. Oil level ok? Coolant?
-
Could be a sensor too. Guys in Phoenix at Arizona Laser Alignment are tri pac masters, and do stuff for a fraction of what TK charges.
-
If you are feeling embolded, take the cover off that black box where the reset button is. Inside are fuses. Look for blown fuse. Those fuses go to different sensors.
mitmaks Thanks this. -
Except it doesn't say which fuse is for what
-
No you need the manual. But look to see if any are blown. I had the oil level sensor go bad. Kept blowing the fuse triggering the ENG fault. It's like a $17 part.
Now TK is going to turn that into $800 job.mitmaks Thanks this. -
Find anything?

Copy all above. Make sure the safety switch in the engine compartment is on.
Good luck.
