thinking of a change

with carbs new rules i know my california days are numbered .....so i started calling local carriers in the ks area i am now thinking of a switch but a little nervous about swithching to a %contract.....
highlights are 86% with a 10cpm trailer chargeback til i get my own
the lanes we talked about avg 185 a mile to the truck

i am switching from 1.35 a mie all miles with paid reefer fuel plates tolls etc etc

when i ran the numbers for an even number of miles 120k assuming 20k of those dh i was thinking i would pickup about 10k a year with the advantage of getting through the house once a week and once i add my own trailer i think the chance to add another 10k to that does that sound reasonable
