Being a local guy I don't have to deal with truck stops so I could be wrong on thinking this but couldn't they go butt to butt 2 per spot so they could all still roll when needed and take up half as many spots?

Now, there you go. Using common sense. I just wonder how much fuel K&B buys at that Love's per week?

You are asking something to much. I have seen drivers dropping trailers and taking spot deep next to it because they don't like reefers.

If I was to rise to power as a trucking Hitler I'd exterminate all bobtails in full rig spots . Nothing makes me more mad than that

I wouldn't care if this was 1988...But Parking is very precious these days---- No Need for this.

I think it’s BS also. Bobtail rig you can park almost anywhere and nobody will care.

And yet, more than once, I've found an out the way spot to tuck my bobtail in, only to have a t/s employee come out tell me to move into a parking spot.

    tucker and bzinger Thank this.

Maybe if you park out front in the car parking lot they will grouse at you. There is always hidey holes in the truck area to sneak a bobtail into. I try to stay away from packed-house truck stops anyway so this kind of politics doesn't come up.

    FlaSwampRat and bzinger Thank this.

The bobtails can’t park along the curbs because the hood trucks park there instead of in a spot.

    FlaSwampRat Thanks this.
