    I drove my KW for a year and a half with no fuel gauge.
    But ont two on trucks speedometers dont work I paced myself, the normal distance of power poles could be made in 4 seconds and you’d be about 57 mph. worked for 4 years at a farm service center without one.

    Ran my old WS for 2 years, around 100,000 miles without one, never got a ticket either!

    When I 1st started, late 70s, I never drove a truck that would do the speed limit anyways, especially loaded. The picture above is from an IH Loadstar, gas job, mostly 392/V8s, and I remember some slow rides in IH tandem dump trucks, but going slow back then wasn't such a crime it is today.
