Stupid and mostly unrelated shaming anecdote time:
I was cruising along the other day with a Super Ego truck two lanes over to my left when a car decided it needed to pass between us in an unsafe manner.
Our intrepid four wheeler was too close for even a Super Ego driver and this driver let loose the "you're a dumb ###" honk.
It's not likely that the driver of this unfortunate four wheel will ever understand the significance of being honked at by a Super Ego truck.Sons Hero, tarmadilo, IH Truck Guy and 6 others Thank this. -
Now that’s kinda impressive.

Super Ego should not have been traveling in the far left lane. Very typical.Flat Earth Trucker and D.Tibbitt Thank this.

Given the choice of picking your poison in that manner, I would err on the side of not blocking people IN.Tb0n3, dunchues and hope not dumb twucker Thank this.

This could’ve been on a 4-lane where trucks are legal as far over as the third one. It happens.
95 between Baltimore and Washington comes to mind.JolliRoger, hope not dumb twucker and Flat Earth Trucker Thank this. -
Super ego is like the ringling bros of trucking . I had one super ego driver pull up next to me and I thought he was the GEICO caveman, just giving a dead stare out his window.

One Super Ego driver I encountered was a dead ringer for Mr. Miyagi.
Waiting to be offloaded, a Super Ego truck was ahead of me when a dock door became available. The truck wasn't moving so I got out and knocked on his door.
The driver popped his head out of the window and I was looking at Mr. Miyagi. So I gave him the ole wax on, wax off signal it was his turn to be offloaded next.Sons Hero, JolliRoger, hotrod1653 and 2 others Thank this. -
True but the idea is to not leave room for anyone to be able to pass on the right in the first place. If he was not actively passing another vehicle he should have been to the far right.hope not dumb twucker Thanks this.

How about if he’s approaching a left hand exit that he needs?hope not dumb twucker Thanks this.
