That's all Prime is using for lightweight tractors now. Company drivers, solo, reefer division only.

For you younger generation truck drivers..(Or whats left)......

The size of sleepers have become too big.

    Ok,You have storage,comfort or whatever....

it makes it a long day blindsiding in Astoria at that bakery,Dont it? or peddling some frozen in Framingham?

Look......The Resale value is atrocious too.....These Gwady Tall plastic, fiberglass or whatever sleepers with funky windows and such just dont sell high $$$ in used markets.

A True Largecar is not the Size of the sleeper.....its the "Class" that attracts.

I guess if I have to explain any further.........Some of you folks will never understand

I'll agree with this statement, think about how much easier it is to warm up a small sleeper versus a 70" condo? I personally like the idea of the small sleeper setup, allows you to carry more weight.

Plus bonuses. After all is said and done, I average over 46 CPM in a LW.

just moved into one......I bought one of those "cab curtains" in the Pittston store just as soon as they handed me the keys to the truck, but found the slightly lower than normal location of the shoulder harness mounts a bit low so the top rear 4" of the side door windows were still not covered, so I rigged up a couple of bungee cords from the top of the plastic cover near the main curtain, so now all the windows are covered, opens up a bit of living space. the truck did come with a passenger seat, but I decided to keep it. one thing though, these trucks do get beat up quite a bit by newbs, so check the truck out thoroughly when moving into it. overall its not a bad truck, takes a bit adjusting to the lower shifting rpm's(no more winding out to 1600), and the code box for the alarm is a pain in the ###.
