Get yourself a locking DEF cap. They make them. Just a FYI. I know service manages at s few dealers around Omaha trucks have been coming in with
Compromised Def fluid some with coolant, some with diesel. Some with what looks like ATF, and other liquids.
I hate to be paranoid but I trust no one anymore especially not my fellow drivers.
I have everything under lock and key. -

Yep they have quality sensors now. Can’t just fill with straight water anymore. Keep def filters changed yearly. More the filters become restricted the harder the pump module has to work. Filters are easy to change and not very expensive. Versus a pump module. FYI sometimes the whole tank with module is cheaper than module by itselfshatteredsquare Thanks this.

How old is DEF filter?
Also I think they f up big time not having a drain port on bottom of the tank
