I have never tried it. I do wax aluminum after a polish with a thick carnauba wax with good results.

I mix in about a pint of Fabuloso with my regular windshield wash fluid. It dissolves a lot more bug guts than fluid alone, and it doesn’t foam up.

I mix 4 ozs of Dawn with 28 ozs of water. Works great against bugs and the deposits that salty, humid air leave on the windshield.

Garden pump sprayer, one gallon of windshield wash fluid and a quart of ammonia. Quick spray and a squeegee.

Dried up bugs melt away :)

    Rainex windshield washer fluid

or when I stopped at night I'd squirt windex and wait a few minutes and it comes right off with the wipers.

Maverick Griff and austinmike Thank this.
