you need to get Uber and Uber eats. You can have food delivered to a truck stop it’s really nice also instacart! My new favorite app it’s grocery shopping delivered to you. With they apps you’ll be able to get some good food in you. Stop eating truck stop food it will make you a fat angry man. Not healthy.

And people wonder why truck stops are moving to a paid parking model.....

Oh, and don't take that as disagreement. I wholeheartedly agree. Might also want to toss in grubhub in the mix. It's like UberEats, but different restaurants.

and this is why, we no longer have greasy foods at the truck stops, but rather we have fast food places.

was a time when i could really enjoy the buffet (whatever time of day was being served), and/or have a regular sit down meal.

i haven't been in ANY truck stop diner in years, since i got onto my dedicated accounts jobs.

the foods were really pretty good, as well as i'd surmise, the prices of the time.

fast food eateries in a truck stop to me just isn't right.

one can also call many local pizza shops and they will deliver to a truck stop.

i miss the old days, and truck stop diners.

fast food, blah...i'd rather have a roller dog and a coffee, (which i do, several times a week).

The dynamics of retail as it relates to truck stops and convenience stores has changed over the years. When I retired in 2013 several truck stops had closed up their restaurants and rented the space to fast food operators. After Pilot bought the flying fish hook they closed all of theirs. Today they are subways and Denny's etc. Most truckers today a truck stop is a pay at the pump, go use the shower/restroom and park. The Truck stops long ago waved that white flag.

The primary problem with delivering to trucks is some places won't do it. I had to beg with a promise of 20 bucks extra once in Idaho just to get a pizza delivered to me at our terminal there. This is a great idea, but there are problems that go hand in hand.

Yes and with uber eats, a $10 meal will probably become a $20 meal. Really good tip

You've actually had people tell you they wont deliver to you???? I've not had that happen yet, but I donf order delivery often.... usually only if I'm stuck at a customer over night and didht plan ahead..... just give them the customer's address and tell them I'm in the white semi, cant miss me. I'm sure there are places that wont deliver that way for security purposes, but I've not found one yet.
