I am attending CDL school in January. Been on the phones with the recruiters to get a heads up on the game. The following is from another forum that I borrowed and modified it in order to ask questions. I Print one out and fill it out for each company, that way its organized and I have it for when I want to start making my decision. I normally have them on the phone for about 20 minutes or so. If they are dying to get off of the phone than they are not trying to look for quality drivers, but the quantity of drivers they bring in. (this normally has spacing. I have this on front and back on 1 piece of paper)

Qualifications (Endorsements, Passport, TWIC, experience, etc)
What Lanes & Divisions are offered: (coast to coast, Regional, local, Van, Tank, flatbed, etc)

Sign on Bonus (and yes some companies have these for new grads)
Orientation pay: (amount and length of orientation)
Orientation location:
Trucks dedicated and parked to the yard or take home on off time
Training pay rate/frequency:
What type of miles (if by miles which is rare) do they pay, Practical,Hub, etc?
Is the training Solo 1 on 1 training or ran as a team operation

Average miles per week (I ask this 3 -4 times throughout the questions just to see if I catch them off guard or if they change answers)
