Pros: wish it paid a more per miles for experience drivers
Cons: had more freight for the northeast to get people who live up there home

being paid to travel a cross country

What I learn is the job...everyday you learn more and more

Management- is good the load planners need to communicate better to the fleet managers but good!

I started as a dispatcher and after 1 year became the safety director. The company has grown in my tenure from 185 drivers to 420 drivers.

good place work,good people

Great work environment

Cons: not enough drivers and they almost force you to make money

A company that has its employees best interest at heard. Consistant work if you don't mind working, clean equipment and a very good support staff

Well got my exercise at Taylor farms in salinas today lol parked the truck two hours before appointment, told by guard at gate that the check in (I thought she said chicken, told her I wasn't hungry) phone was half mile back down the street at a 'leetle shack'. Decided to get my walk in for the day cuz I was two hours early. So I sauntered off admiring the grime of America's produce basket. Got to the shack, was told to go back to the warehouse next to where I was parked. Got there, they said I went to the wrong 'leetle shack', the one I went to was Taylor farms retail. The shack I wanted was across the parking lot from the other shack. So back I walked, as parking at the dock was non existent. Found the right shack, was told on the phone that this particular order was to be checked in at original loading dock. With me yet? So five minutes before my appointment time, sweaty, tired, and amiably frazzled, I got checked in. That was three hours ago and now I'm making a pb&j cuz the roach coach has caused me to be prematurely hungry. Still. beats the pants off sitting in an office all day. God bless America. God bless truckers. God bless language differences. God bless truck stop showers. God bless creative bathroom graffiti artists, who go out of their way to keep me entertained as I do my business. Man I was king cool. They were callin me fonzie out on the dock. Fat, sweaty, bald fonzie. Good times!

 

I would because the training period does sound good, however I many problebly do not live in their main hiring area, Quoting their site "particularly drivers who live within 25 miles of an exit along the I‑85 (VA to GA), I‑95 (VA to northern FL) and I‑40 (NC to OK) corridors." As I only see one of their trucks in my area every great once in awhile that maybe a problem

 

Boy watching these two prime drivers try and figure out how to slide their tandems brings to mind monkeys doing unnatural things to a football
