Tracy it's tricky. For me...passenger seat during daylight hours BUT not in direct sunlight. I've tried a few at night but any sort of shadow will result in that part being blacked out.

I usually do it in the passenger seat. Only had one time where payroll wanted it re sent. that one was done at night in the sleeper and wasn't readable to them. been using it for about two months and have my bills transflo'd before the ink is dry. never had a problem with it freezing up.

Thanks, guys. Turns out I was expecting the pics on my cell phone to be readable, they looked pretty bad and I figured that was a problem. Sent one load thru, anyway, and got paid just fine!

Probably one of the best apps I have for my Android! As said before, no running around trying to get to a Transflow location before the daily cutoff! Happy Camper here!

Your phone does make a big difference. It worked great on my old phone but with my new phone, the screen is so long that it would pick up too much background and I had to keep resending.

So, just went back to my old phone and send it via WiFi.

I like the app but i only use it if i cant find a truck stop and i really need to send my bills, i hate to take pics of 10+ pages when i could easily do it at the TS.

Its a little tricky to get a decent pic and takes a lil longer than scanning at a truck shop. I still go that route but I use this app if I just delivered close to our deadline to turn them in and can't get to a pilot or loves. Convienant in that manner. Plus if your papers are a little wrinkled or folder it will show in the photo. I like it to look neat so I don't have no issues with payroll.

I've used it on two already. First one went fine second one was received by payroll cut in half so I had to resend. That's why I don't fully trust it. also if you have a 20 page bol then its an even bigger pain.

I plan on buying a portable scanner to scan to ny laptop and then send it to my phone. Much easier option that way I think.

You can crop the images. Phone size doesn't matter.

I know you can crop them but the problem is image quality, not size.

That's because of the camera. The smaller the megapixels the crappier the image is when you blow it up. Most newer mid to high end phones have 8 mp. But a 4 mp camera will make a image look distorted when you pull it up on a computer. You said background so thought you weren't cropping. If I still ain't seeing what you mean idk lol
