Took my dog into Canada many many times, they never checked her shots or anything. They did frisk her once though....

This is exactly what has happened....

Used to be agents ask me to go quite regularly. Finally cycled through all of them (I think) to where they understood no round trip/round trip rate no booking.

That and not sure the plastic bubble truck would make it there and back...

Just checked the Landstar BCO board. One load back flat or step.

    Lepton1 and spyder7723 Thank this.

But the load pays 12,000 dollars. How many loads out there pay that much?

Loads to alaska used to pay pretty well, going rate in the late 90s and early 2000s was 18 to 22k. today most are garbage and the reason why is because so many look at them as a vacation load. The op is running this load at cost because he wants to say he went to alaska.

In his mind its a two week vacation, not working for two weeks. I guess there is noting wrong with that, but it sure does make it harder on the guys who truck for a living instead of a hobby.

Assuming nothing goes wrong. I would hate to have to:
    • Replace a radiator at Prophet River after hitting a moose or a bear
    • Need tires in Quill Creek
    • Need a mechanic in Glennallen

CellNet, Lepton1 and spyder7723 Thank this.
