Write it on your hand.
I write mine on notebook with load info if I haven’t been there, use abbreviations, RR, draw a —> or <— or o/o for red light.

Also, download Truckerpath and learn to use it. You do not need the premium version. I pay $1.99 per month so I don't deal with the ads. The truck routing option is useless and redundant. I just put $30.00 in my Google pay account once per year and use the Google pay option. When used properly, (it takes a bit to learn to use it properly), it is worth it's weight in gold

I almost always know where I am going to park the truck before it even moves for the beginning of my driving shift. I have a primary place and if that location is full I have an alternate. Leave enough time on your clock to locate legal SAFE parking. Don't be a Super Trucker that drives their clock out until 20 minutes are left then says "Gee I had better find a place to park" then proceed to park in NO PARKING ZONE, block the Scale or Fuel Island.
There is a pretty good App called "Park My Rig" that lets you search for parking within a 3 hour journey from your present location. Very inexpensive per month subscription charge.Last edited: Jul 24, 2021

The gps satellite sure comes in handy. Especially when looking for the best way to the dock. Often it’s on a different street than the Business address. I look for major roads, least amount of turns, preferring lefts over rights, especially when pulling into Customer, if the Dock is off a tight road, or if backing in from the road is required.
