A couple of weeks, I was going down to Cason TX, to pick up a load of Fly Ash first time beind down there so I wasn't familiar with the area. Well it was dark (4am) and there wasn't any street lights in that area (FM 1735) as I was making a right turn to enter the plant the road looked wider than it was, so as I was turning I turned a little to early and the truck hit this ditch so hard it actually bounced back out then the truck turned off. I said to my self "O hell what did I tear up" I went out side expecting to see a few blown tired, punctured fuel tank, and maybe a bent rim or two. To my surprise the only damage I did was knock the alignment out and tore up the front bumper. After pulling my self the rest of the way out I was able to get through the gate where there was some light and check under neath the whole tractor for a inspection. After confirming there was no additional damage I was able to get loaded and heading back up I-30 and made my delivery, then back to they yard to have the truck fixed, and filled out a accident report. Needless to say the CO didn't hold it against me, no warning or anything like that. It will just go into my personal file for six months.
