Yep. Petro in West Memphis, Petro in Bordentown NJ, the 2 in Ontario CA to name a few. The TA In Mildale CT didn't charge me the last time I was there but I don't know if I just got lucky or not. But quite a few still have the booths up but are no longer pay to parkGrumppy Thanks this.

The 'Greater Chicago I55 Truck Stop' charges $10 for the night, or 75 gallons of fuel or $75 spent at the shop.... I stayed there last night. You get a ticket at t he gate on the way in and pay the booth on the way out....
Not many other choices close to Chicago....Grumppy Thanks this. -
I saw that on Google Maps but thought it was a truck wash. Also saw a Walmart but figured it was no trucks.

you mean Willington off 84? If you were there on Saturday or Sunday it's free. During the week they charge, but any combination of receipts totaling $20 gets you out of there. I spend that on dinner and breakfast the next morning regardless so I've never had to pay.

Last time there it was a Friday and nobody was working the gate. I figured they either knocked off early and I got lucky or they stopped charging.
I did know about it being free on the weekend. I unfortunately had to do a 34 there once.
EDIT: you're talking about the one further up 84. I'm talking about the one in Milldale which is where 84 and 691 meet -
Yeah. Forgot about that one. Mainly because I try not to park in Atlanta.

The TA on I-78 in Bloomsbury New Jersey at exit 7, pulled in their one night to grab a cold beverage. On the way out I got hassled at the guard shack. Told him I just bought a Coke but he wanted a fuel ticket or for me to pay to park. He ended letting me out but acted like he was cutting me a break. That was 10 years ago and I have never been back to that TA.
