Trucks need to be inspected. This guy must have too much time to kill.

This driver is a total moron. If I was the officer I would have my buddy show up and have my buddy play the part of the truck driver and I would inspect the living hell out of that truck and right up every little nitpicky thing that I could. We has drivers of the DOT a little bit of respect and courtesy. It's not too much to ask

Deadwood, bzinger and Lepton1 Thank this.

When you pull stuff like this all your doing is pissing the inspecting officer off. I have been out here for 22 years, every time I'm inspected, I'm professional and respectful. I have always been given the same in return, but then again I'm former military, I bath daily, keep a clean truck and dress like a professional.

Am I obligated to help, no, but if the DOT Officer knows what he is doing he can pencil #### the driver and find a reason to put him OOS. Cooperate and graduate as they say.

I have watched that video while ago and that driver was just an ###. Just be a professional and help the officer. Should go smoothly. If i was the i spector... i would have put him oos and told driver when you are ready to help let me know. Make driver sit and stew for awhile. Bet next time he will comply

This is a good example of what I call a crap driver.

He shows why we have a long way to go to be respected as professionals.

I always hear horror stories from drivers about D.O.T. I have been driving for 28 years and have yet to have a problem with them or Troopers. I guess you have to consider the source. Usually the issue is the driver being an A$@ hat!! At least that's what it seems like....Be respectful get it over with and get down the road!!
