I'll make a confession. Some years ago (probably '98 or so), there was a cop on a motorcycle on the opposite side of the highway. I got on the CB and, having one of my patented brain farts, forgot what to call it (Evel Knievel). So....I just came up with something...

    "A bear on two wheels".

Got a good laugh out of a nearby driver....

Does anyone use "Leo"? I feel "bear" is too confusing to me... Cause we have actual bears crossing the roads here in Montana.

I've said "George Jetson under the XYZ overpass taking pictures" and everyone gets it. It started when I worked as an auto mechanic on the east side of Atlanta. Dekalb County motor cops were always hiding under overpasses or over hills shooting radar. For some reason, the image of the motor cop seated at the ready in his white half-helmet turned around pointing the radar gun made me think of the Jetsons. A google image search only comes up with something not quite that.

Yes I do. Example: "Break 19, you got a full grown with the bubble gum machine a going with a 4 wheeler pulled over at the 125 mile marker on the east bound side. Looks like he's giving the driver of the 4 wheeler his autograph (a ticket)." That or like this, "East bound you got a Meat wagon (Ambulance) running hot (lights and siren on) in the hammer lane (left lane) passing the 127. Might want to get on over in the granny lane (right lane) and let them on by." Just a couple examples of what I learned from my Aunts and Uncles.

If you want to hear all the above used in context with the original meanings and inflection I would suggest renting or purchasing the original "Smokey and the Bandit" ( 1977)

Besides the actors obviously had a good time making the film. Get some popcorn and your ready to go.

There's a (truck) (4 wheeler) (Motorbike) getting a free ticket to the Policeman's Ball ahead of you.

Someone's pulled over ahead of you.

Here are a few I didn't see mentioned:

Seat Cover, beaver, trooper tax, Skate board, belly drager, dock slammer, cow puncher, tanker yanker, local yokel, country bear jamboree, weighing your wagon, playin with your undercarriage, checkin your particulars.

Just some I could think of off hand.
