When you crash a big rig at 75mph versus 65 mph, Your chances of survival are less than half. You also have a three times greater risk of crashing overall traveling at 75 mph than you do at 65 mph. That is why trucking companies set their limits around 65 mph. Pure statistics

Any facts to back that up? Travelling faster actually reduces your risk because you are constanrly putting distance between u and the slower trucks travelling in packs. 4 wheelers will still past you so the majority of the time you are travelling alone so unless you are distracted your chance of crashing is moot.

75 puts on the brakes constantly because of slower trucks

There are many drivers out there who have ungoverned trucks and decide to drive under 70 to reduce their fuel expense. I personally drive at 62, and I will pass a vehicle if I catch up to it. Do you know how many vehicles I catch up to in a day? The answer is much, much less than someone driving 75 mph. When you drive 62, most drivers will pass you and not the other way around. This also means less lane changes, and as we all know, right-lane changes is in the top 5 most common accidents.
