What a bs excuse, few years back they delivered some kind of reactor core to a nuclear plant near where i live,it took like a week to travel 25 miles from the river to the final destination
Loads that big dont travel fast for a reason: to spot problems very quick before they turn into disaster.

That’s ganna be a big PITA to get back in the road. I can only imagine how much it’ll cost. I’m not savvy when it comes to heavy loads like this but every time I see them they move real slow and have people watching every angle of that load so why hasn’t anyone spotted the drifting before? Not pointing fingers just curious.
buddyd157 and Swiss Mountain Dog Thank this. -
I remember @cnsper talking about a trailer he or the company he drove for that had a jeep that would drift like that, and the manufacturer saying no way it could happen. But apparently it does happen. Think about it: remote control steering -- what could go wrong?
Also, my tv has a picture but no sound now for about a week. But technology always works, it must be operator error lol.Slowpoke KW, buddyd157 and Rubber duck kw Thank this. -
Jamming wood under the wheels seems beneath these guys.......

Not so much a drift as an unseen obsticle that was driven into.

I’m not sure but it looks like part of a trestle bridge.

Did you see how far the trailer offset from the tractor? It looked to be 2-3' to the passenger side of the tractor.
A few months ago I was passed by a pole puller hauling over length pipe for a project in north Texas. His trailer set was at LEAST 3' right of his tractor as he blew by me, almost clipping me, then continuing to pass other traffic on the divided four lane highway. In a way it was comical. But mostly it was just an accident waiting to happen.Bud A. Thanks this. -
Think of them as the “HeavyLift” of the trucking world.
