Reefer rates also vary with season. California to east coast can give you generally $3 a mile. And going back around $1-1.50 a mile
typical load board reefer rates?

not all the time currently it pays max 2.25 cpm and going back very hard to get 1.50cpm except multi multi stop loads now 1+1 pays 3200 total comes around 1.10-1.20 cpm but if you stay in ca in hot season you 4.5 dollar a mile like or wa co and running coast to coast all time no way you can catch 100.000 mile 100.000 home formula you gotta know when and where you going to be thats all

I was hoping you might share that Brokers info with me. I run a 53' Refer Now and your exactly right.....$1.45-1.65 + FSC (usually now about .45-.50 c/mi.) is all day long. I did get a call from a frozen seafood broker in Mass. w/$2.40-2.60/mile + FSC...Outbound to SoCal and Miami. If I had a goto broker..hey $50/load is ok with me.

What do you want to know everything is outbound from wichita dodge city and liberal .....rates seem good i usually run hard for three weeks then go home for one or two weeks .....70 percent lh 100 fsc they pay reefer lumpers and cargo rest is o you.....i usually have about a dollar a mile to work woth after i pay for fuel...,

How many miles do u average a week and is 5k a week gross something I can expect if I run legal
-
Well that all depends what lanes you want to run ..i had a lot of dh last week but on 2800 miles loaded miles i had 4900 in gross rev to me i think about 400 dh miles so the avg that week was 1.50 ..one bh was a little low butit was light and easy ....i,m still learning their lanes when i ran cali it was about 2 a mile gross to get out and then you were at mercy of cali rates to get back no pressure on dispatch u choose your outbound load they find you a way back some loads are tight but that is reefer tx out is 3 a mile so i dont see me doing anything but for a while
A little long winded but i like em1BadMoFo Thanks this.
