i drove for tyson foods from 2018 til 2022. i got a new truck right out the gate a new 2018 volvo. pay and miles were great..a lot of night driving. . last two years i made $ 88,000 per year 2020 and 2021. they run u on recap hours which is after midnight.. tyson hires convicted felonies. driver is responsible for trailer washouts. a few of the plants have trailer washouts most do not which means u have to find a truck stop before going to the next stop. security checks the back of the trailers before allowing them on the property. when i left they were requiring u to purchase fuel at loves truck stops instead of leaving up to the driver. dispatchers would cut your com data fuel cards off for no reason. no detention pay. most warehouse deliveries are 8-10 hours for live unloads in a dock door capstone logistics were responsible for live unloads at most warehouses. capstone would inventory your load before releasing your bills. only have two terminals for truck service springdale and russellville. service at springdale is not recommended take the truck to russellville if u can.make sure u checked your truck before leaving the shop for the things they were suppose to repair. they let u get service work at truck stops which is not much better. i got a juror summons for juror duty, dispatch dustin w. dispatcher would not let me come home for juror duty. u never got home on time for home time. had two assigned day shift dispatchers dustin w. and scott b. dustin is now a terminal manager he was the best dispatcher. second and third shift dispatchers were terrible. the only perks at tyson was miles and pay. i was making 63 cpm when l left which was good pay for 2500 to 3000 miles per week. they will work your ### off. i had 4 dot inspections and passed them all, Kentucky, Illinois, South Carolina and Nebraska dot was looking for false logs involving PC. u haul a lot of heavy loads so make sure u check your weight limits. most plants had scales some did not which means u would to go the closet truck stop. i stayed out for 3 weeks at the time and took 3 days off before going back out. worked during thanksgiving and Christmas for extra pay.
tyson dispatchers would assign the same load assignments to 2 drivers and which ever driver would get there first would get the load assignment. the other driver would have to wait for the next load.

I’ve had one time I was sent orders for jury duty and wrote to the court the reason I could not attend due to my being away from home, and was excused by the judge.

What I find most interesting is you chose your forum user name to refer to a job you haven't had in almost 3 years.
