For the curious, pooch stayed in the room while we were gone. He's well behaved (except for checking out the trash cans for food lol) and he had a window next to the bed that he could look out of so he was fine by himself while we were gone. Nice thing about Schnauzers -- they don't do alot of barking (unless someone gets too close to HIS truck LOL). We got the truck back today and are on our way to pick up a load going to TX Saturday am. It feels great to be back in the truck -- but the reorganizing after staying in a hotel for a week is going to take awhile. All the work was covered under warranty and the truck drives great. I agree there are tradeoffs with the auto-shift, but every time we're in Chicago traffic -- or any stop and go traffic for that matter -- we are glad we have it. Well, vacation's over -- back to the road

    Hi Keelady...
Glad it worked out to have down time. I have a question..Are you company drivers? Because if you are, I would like to know who it is you drive for and how thier pet policy works. Every time I ask I am told "only if you lease '....etc.. Just curious. After school, I will join my b/f to team and I am really heartbroken about my little dog having to stay behind. I have been trying to get relatives to help me, not sure if they will yet or not. Thanks for your time and Happy trails...

    Cari :hello2:
