    So UPS isn't hiring for anything in my area. I did see them doing so a while back but that ship has sailed. I signed up in the system to get emails when the jobs come up. I am interested in getting a job with the Teamsters Union. I know of a large construction company in my area that is all union with Teamster dump trucks and what ever else. I know some guys that worked there and retired and some that still work there so I could probably pull some strings and get in one way or another but not sure if I'd get a trucking job right away and I don't want to be digging holes for God knows how long... How do I find out what other Teamster trucking companies are available? Call the union?

    Huh, only 496 entries. It list about 10 in Cali and they are all in LA.

    I wouldn't think a list like that would also show all of a company's regional offices, DCs, terminals, etc.

    When I was in Teamsters the common belief was that when it came time to retire we'd get one of those Las Vegas fun packs instead of our pension. You old timers probably remember those...coupons really, discounts at clubs and cafes and hotels. Cash value maybe twenty bucks
    Since our pension fund was looted so the mob could build casinos we didn't figure there'd be much left. We were right.
