Had portables set up here in NW Mt. Did a level 1 on me while sitting on the scales. Quickest 20 min level 1 I ever had! Afterward I thanked him for being so quick. He was practically running around the truck!
He said he only inspects the important parts of the rig. I was ok with that

Go figure. I ran east and westbound through Banning today. Both were active. Got the green light both times, but I think the westbound side closed just as they red lighted a dozen trucks all in a tailgate party. I hung back and the last of them filled the ramp.
Sometimes it pays to be last.Truckermania, otterinthewater, Diesel Dave and 2 others Thank this. -

Nothing between Texas and North Dakota this week via I-35, I-135, US81, I-80, and I-29. The scale on US81 at the Kansas/Nebraska line was closed, it’s usually open, the 80 super coops in Nebraska we’re business as usual. South Dakota had a few more inspectors on duty but you really had to know different to see them back there.
Got my usual green lights on the prepass at all scales. As usual, not much to report for BLITZ week.Lepton1 Thanks this. -
Ohio was spooky quiet on US 35 and I-70 west of Dayton today. None... not one DOT or trooper in sight when I came through.... that’s RARE on any day... US 35 is usually good for 2-4 of them
Truckermania, JoeyJunk and nikmirbre Thank this. -
