They had a recruiter come down to our school in yuma and they have a flat pay of 735 a month...i know for a fact that once i start driving im going to.be slow for the first few months .. so getting cpm isnt the way to go at first is what im understanding... and ive read alot of bad stuff about them but tbh im just trying to get miles under my belt for now , im not trying to be picky.. goodluck..

we have mays trucking come to are school here in phoenix once a month but the recruiter doesnt even have her cdl's she talks about her dad and his cdl and he dead and stuff, it was kinda of a turn off but honestly the plus is the apu's for the drivers. werners dont give new drivers apu's til you reach 1 million miles..

I don't think May has APUs. They do have inverters, though.

Recruiters says they have apus for new drivers.

Ask them to show you one sometime. I have never heard an APU running from a May truck, and the drivers idle their trucks. I still keep in contact with people in the company and visit them at the terminal.
slow.rider Thanks this. -
My advice: Unless you really, really love the living conditions of the May Trucking ship, (the Captain gives you nice stuff and nice work to do) then stay aboard. Otherwise grab whatever experience you need and jump ship when you see a good island in sight.
They have pretty good equipment but low pay and slow trucks governed at 61mphLast edited: Sep 8, 2017
