Hopefully I can get some recent info about Freymiller. I have read what I can find on here, plus I have checked their website.
Do they have forced dispatch? Do they run the east coast or the northeast? Avg. miles, any type of health insurance??

Worked for them back in 05=06 (yeah, I know, not recent) - nice folks. never had a bad word to say 'bout 'em.
stormy379 Thanks this. -
I appreciate the come back

Don, the father - and Dave, the son were running it when we were there. The trucks were always nice, Cliff in the shop was great, but I think he has moved on since.
The pay was about industry average, maybe a bit lower at the time. They helped out owner operators with large repair bills at times, always upfront and honest. We only left for higher pay at ODFL.
I don't think there's any Freymiller drivers on the forum - I've seen this question asked before and no response.
Good luck.stormy379 Thanks this. -
Thank you for your reply. ☺

I am starting there in the morning, like you I have researched till I am blue in the face. All I can tell you atm that you haven't read anywhere is that if you hire on they will make you drive company for 30 days so you and the company can get acquainted with each other which isn't a bad deal. Also you will have to fill it a financial profile outlining your current monthly expenses which they will send to ATBS and those folks will determine whether you would be a good candidate for a lease. This is the only real caveat I see because you do this after you're hired and if they say no then you are either stuck being a company driver or you quit and take a hit on you're work record.I have talked to a couple of their drivers and they are happy and say they will run your tail end off if you are there to work.

Do you know if they are forced dispatch? And do they run east??
-
Yes, they are forced dispatch. Except for NYC, you will accept and run whatever is put on you. Yes, we run the northeast. We run all 48, however you won't see a lot of the Pacific Northwest.
There's "rumors" floating around on here that when Freymiller bought out Buehl they also bought the customers. That's only a rumor and its NOT true.
They're selling off the junk Buel equipment.
Freymiller will run you hard, after you've shown them that you know what your doing. Any other questions, don't hesitate to ask.Rick Brown, blairandgretchen and stormy379 Thank this. -
