Got these 2 in my sights looking to retire after 20 years. Got offers from both, just wanted to know drivers input on these 2.

    Thanks

If you go with UPS Parcel, you will work a "hog board" for years. I have a friend who has 12 years seniority and he is still low man on the board. Everytime he thinks he might be gaining some ground, package drivers with more company seniority will move over to "feeder" or they will move runs out of the building he works out of to another location. OH, he makes in the high 80s for the year but it is not "roses". Go with OD.

I'm very happy at ODFL. I run linehaul. Awesome pay, fantastic 401k contributions, generous holiday and vacation package. I could've picked any LTL I wanted, and I went with ODFL.

    Old Dominion.

I am not part of that part of trucking and I even know enough to avoid UPS. I had quite a few share some of their stories over the years.

Go with OD. I worked for R&L for a brief moment and felt like it wasn't a good fit for me. I left to go work for OD. Pretty happy so far with my barn and OD.
