The paid miles on the 1st load was 2600. Also, dont forget about the empty miles. I drove about 180 miles to pickup the 2nd load.

That's good. I got one west coast load in 3 years.
-
Thats strange. Im picking up a Autozone load in Zanesville, OH tomorrow going to Saltlake
-
West coast , whats that? 13 months in and havn't been west of KC. Had one load going from NY to Cali but got screwed by a receiver and lost that one. No complaints though, keep me right in the middle and Ill be happy Lol

You either have the best luck or the worst luck depending on how you see it. USA only has a small handful of core customers out west. You mostly just run brokered freight in between long periods of sitting.
-
How is that strange? Its not strange, its common. If your just so loveable and you get the few western runs they have good for you. I have listened to dozens of drivers talk about all the miles they are getting. I might have called up and complained a few times about miles but that was only after I was getting shorted and made to wait with short miles. When I was there they had a small group of drivers that they concentrated the west on. Its how USA does things. It was part of Cliffs "Spider lanes" Idea. Just another one of his ideas that failed to make the company turn a profit.

Being loveable has nothing to do with it. I live out there and have been out for 5.5 weeks now and we all get shorted some times. Today is Thursday and I have 600 miles in.
-
That's the rub right there. You said you live out west? That's why you get the western runs. The one cali run I've had I was told to absolutely not answer my phone. My fm would text me before she called or call from her cell. She said someone would try to swap me off the run but if I don't answer they can tell me lol.
