I have one question GC. Why go back to USA instead of going to another employer that is already better, has better pay, and has better benefits? Just wondering, your choice, your life, your future.
Currently driving local, might go back OTR eventually but I'll become an O/O if I do.
USA needing trainers would u or would u not!

I never had a rub with my FM. I found my way there pretty easy, I got good miles. I encountered some discomfort in my day to day dealings from time to time. But where don't you? I enountered discomfort from eatin 2 for $2 dogs at Pilot too
but I kept eatin them!
My voice always mattered there. I felt like I was always heard. Upon my return I was able to negotiate a little better money, same fleet, better truck. It is within my comfort zone. I came home to be with my daughter and get things straight with my family, so USA was not the rub as much as it was being away from home with the circumstances at home being what they were.
Circumstances have improved at home so I am able to return to work. You read my threads Green, you know I'm not makin this up.
Would you believe I have not even talked to another company? I thought I might be interested right after I got home. Never did, just didn't appeal to me. I even went and got all my endorsements and TWIC card thinkin I would go somewhere and be something different, just didn't do it for me. Does that make me stupid? Maybe, but USA gave me a shot, I did good there, I think i can continue to realize the results I have already recognized. Besides, I have an edge now.....I know what to expect and where to go to resolve my issues. I have connections.....its my comfort zone
And at the end of the day if it don't go the way i think it should, what am I out? Providing I continue my safe driving and record for no (self fault) service failure, I will be fine. I control those things so I have no worries.
whats going on with your new gig? -
Don't you think (1) person can make a difFerence??

Yes, a preventable accident in march, why did you not post the link where I admitted this and explained where I got railroaded by a shipper. And the other stuff simply by you knowing means I never tried to hide it. I have always been brutally honest with my history here. You must have some kind of learning disability or just selective dyslexia because I have stated in at least 6 posts in this area that I have knowledge of USA Truck because I still exchange emails with people I know in safety and operations, as well as several active drivers. I also take the time to speak with drivers at fuel islands and eating places. Also I have never said negative things about USA Truck in general. There are some fine good decent hard working folks there. I just posted the other day they have a good customer base and for the most part I liked the freight I hauled. I just got tired of the constant breaking down, and yes after many weeks of little (under $100) pay I went off. I have a feeling I am not the first to do this or will be the last. I have always articulated my problem was with management and mostly Clif Beckham. I don't want to get into a pissing contest either, but I be ###### if I will let you by with this crap. -
I know the posts and did not nor do I feel the need to sully your reputation any further.
You know Cliff Beckham? Do you expect the readers to believe that you are exchanging emails with safety and operations regarding current policy and future policy changes? Really? With a former employee that factually had a problem going from here to there without getting into an accident? Oh wait, it was the shippers fault, sorry.
I have you hooked now, come on, you know your mad that you got let go, just admit it. It's refreshing! Makes you feel alive!
It didn't work out (at USA) and now you have to state all you think you know, via your "connections". I'm not trying to get away with anything, but you are.....................but now we see you

Thats good to hear that you're getting into the same fleet, and that you aren't going to get another 9400i lol.
This at my new company are pretty good so far. I knew coming into this during the fall isn't the best circumstances, but the cement has been moving all the way up to this week. It's slowed down a little due to the rain this week, hopefully this stuff goes away and I'll make some more money. I'm loving being home everynight with weekends off and still getting paid better then USA

Glad to see y'all two still at it...LOL
I'm glad you're happy their GC. Idk how, but it honestly was never as good as you explain it to me. I still am making it good here at my new job as well. Best of luck to you with the return.goodchoice10 Thanks this. -
I,m actually not angry, just a little bit confused. Why not refute my comments with facts. You seem not want to do this but want to attack the messenger. Also I never said I was exchanging emails with management types in safety or operations and I don't have an ear in the board room, I never said that I did. I just have some friends from my driving days there that I still keep in contact with. These friends are telling me things from time to time about the change over. As to that accident I hope you never have an issue like what happend to me, and if this does happen please don't report it here because I promise you will get reminded of it every time you post. BTW I drove for a bit over 4 months after this crap happened accident free and have remained so since. My termination from USA was not about any of this. Also I am waiting on a phone call from USA Truck about my possible rehire status. According to this trainer friend of mine I am clear, but I want to make sure through direct company channels. I have never met Clif Beckham and have no desire to do so. Enough said about him. As too the other readers I would rather let them make up their own minds about my comments, they don't really need your commentary. After you get your truck assignment let me know what truck number you get, maybe I will see you in a truck stop and I will buy you a cup of coffee and we can talk in person about your problem with my comments on these forums.

OK,,,,,,,,,,,

All right, I was not going to mess with this anymore, but I must.
1) I was not trying to refute anything you were saying with my original comment that started this dialog. I wanted to know why your always trying to give the impression that you know so much about USA. If I disagree with anything you say, or anyone else, I say so. If I factually disagree I will state the facts.
2) I am not attacking the messenger, once again, your statement implicates you as a "messenger", when clearly I think you are not. I think you are a jilted employee that wishes to be employed by USA and cannot be.
3) Your seemingly "all knowing" attitude (your statements) regarding events involving USA gives the impression that you have some "insider" information. (without going thru all the posts) Your statements in your previous posts have indicated that you have "friends" in safety and other places within USA that you get information from. These statements leave readers with the impression that you have some sort of connection. I am a reader, I have that impression.
4) I have not had an accident. With exception to the few posts within the context of this conversation, I am unaware of any reference to you having an accident.
5) I do not know why you were terminated. However, I am certain that an accident in your entire "body of work" at USA gave weight to the decision. Second hand information from a "trainer" saying your way is"clear" is not a solid as phone call from USA saying "come on back". Good your waiting for the phone call.
6) My statement regarding Cliff Beckham, I said that in jest, as to say, "oh, so you know the CEO too?" I do not recall you ever mentioning Cliff Beckham except some comments regarding his guidance of the company.
7) If a reader has no knowledge of USA Truck and reads your posts, they may be mislead. While most of your statements are not harmful, some may be misunderstood and mistaken for fact. Do not feel as though your comments are the only ones I scrutinize. I comment on many threads in TTR refuting imformation regarding USA. Commentary by myself, or anyone, is necessary to allow the unimformed reader to understand the possible motivation of the poster. My motive is altruistic.
I have no problem with your posts. My statement that began this dialog was regarding why you continued to post in a USA thread and I lead YOU to tell the readers what they needed to know regarding your history with USA, to give everyone perspective.
Thanx for the invite for coffee. I will post my truck number.
