So, I'm out in Arizona and going to use my Pilot app to fuel in the morning. Never used it before, as I rarely use our company card.
I entered the card information into the app.
What's next?
Is it going to prompt me to enter driver ID, mileage, and anything else on the app, or will this all be entered on the pump?
I assume it is pretty simple, just don't want to be figuring it out early in the morning before the coffee has had a chance to take effect.

Don't do it dude! It's releases a virus to your phone that plays loud homoerotic porn audio every 15 mins no matter what your sound level is at.

So where's the time saving if it adds another step to the process. Also if you say use the app while waiting to get to the pump do you have to be on duty fueling because of the app time stamp?Mudguppy Thanks this. -
I used it once and didn't see any benefit. I suppose in bad weather you could enter info while in your truck, but an extra minute outside at the pump isn't going to kill anyone.

I started using it last winter for fueling in Sioux Falls on Thursday afternoons. It's just to dang cold up there for my Texas skin. Enter the same info into the app that I would normally enter into the pump.....from the comfort of my cab. Get out and insert the six digit code it provides into the pump and start fueling.
I'd rather enter the info into my phone rather than fuss with a pump pad with an inoperable "2" key.
Also handy for reserving a shower. If there's two or three people ahead of me, by the time I park, get my shower bag, and mosey inside, I can usually walk right in and shower right away. It holds your shower for ten minutes after the number is called.
The app saved my rear a few weeks. Had to take a loaner trucker 180 miles south to where I pick up my preloaded trailer. Forgot my fuel card! No worries and no time lost.....used the app to fill up the loaner which of course was a little dry on fuel.
The app doesn't work 100% of the time. Getting better though, usually 9 x's out of 10 it will work. It's a very handy app and defiantly streamlines the day a bit.Getsinyourblood, drvrtech77, Bean Jr. and 2 others Thank this. -

The time saving is real. Schneider wants your life story typed into that pump on top of everything Pilot or the government wants typed in the pump. Everything is saved in the app and you just update your mileage and get your 6 digit code to type in the pump while you wait for the guy in front of you to finish his 30.
Home_on_wheels and Getsinyourblood Thank this.
