Utility VS. Great Dane Trailers

lmao. My scheme has worked BWAHAHAHAHA (Rubs hands together in an evil way.)

 

I pulled Utility and Great Danes with Thermo-Kings last year. They were both nice.

This year, I bought an 03 Great Dane with a Carrier Phoenix Ultra Reefer. I REALLY like my air locks on the trailer.

I like the construction on the Great Danes that I don't think I would ever buy a Utility myself.

I will likely get a Thermo-King Reefer to update my carrier though on this trailer.

great dane trailer with air pin puller get rid of the safety part where you got to have trailer air supply applied to slide and put in a elertric solenoid and switch in cab plus onboard scales in cab and you dont have to get out to slide tadems when loading or unloading and makes super easy for getting weight set and then you can put a manual air dump for trailer in cab too makes for a good setup for doing ltl where u might bump 4-10 docks a day.

I would argue against this, the wiring for all the factory added lights (non-standard) on our fleet has been horrible, wires not properly sealed and corroding to chaffing and under sized wire.
