That's only $0.21 a mile which is way off. A driver using a smartphone fuel searching app to find the cheapest fuel and running a disciplined speed can capture about $0.5x per mile at JCT give or take. I've been tracking about $0.39 per mile but that is because I run 70 miles per hour and don't shop my fuel.

Jct trucks are governed at 68mph.
-
If you look at it right it's 70. Huh Scotty?
scottied67 Thanks this. -
I have nothing against jct they have miles and freight...tried L/p with them and walked away because you can make more as company driver. You need to make at least 2.00 a mile to make it.

I'll do it a different way 3500 mile week
Jct-net 740.00 in pocket without taxes being paid
Tyson-1056.00 in pocket with taxes paid, insurance, and 69.00 a week child support taken out.damonarnold816 Thanks this. -

don't matter it it's forward, backwards or sideways.90 cents to pull a reefer is a joke.
-
but you can own your own worn out plastic throwaway truck after only 5 years lol.

Im not sure where you get your math but I clear 1400 on a 3500 mile week. The new trucks are all set at 70 now. now .90 a mile is low if we did not get all the other perks. They pay a ton of the taxes and other stuff so if we take all that in to account I would put the load at closer to 1.80 a mile. but hey Like i said its not for everyone.jeff18 and MachoCyclone Thank this.
