Run your hand around your steer tires. Inside and outside edges. If it’s cupping, it’ll sure make the steering wheel shake.

I got a Freightliner, too - that's normal.

So; if you do find cupping on the steer tires, is it acceptable to swap sides?
I was told you don't do that cause of the direction of the belts inside.
They get liking going one way and come apart if you change direction?
I would think it makes no difference and stops shake, and cupping is "worn" off.

Check your carrier bearing. I had bad vibration on my steers with good tires, alignment and CENTRAMATICS - found out my carrier bearing was worn. The shaft vibrates and it produces vibration in your steers. At least it did for me, once I changed the carrier bearing - smooth....
