Volunteer Express not paying drivers again

Isn't TN the Volunteer state? They can't make you work there! LOL!

 

Volunteer Express is going to go under in the very near future. If you aren't receiving your paycheck, the last stop is the doors closing and you stuck far from home with no means to get home. Get. Out. Now. Do not wait. Get to the terminal, clean your stuff out and go home. Like by the end of the week. No paycheck= company getting ready to shut the doors. I've seen this so many times, and just like every time, no warnings, doors are closed, fuel cards off and drivers stuck on the road.

 

What about their trucks?

What about them? Turn them in. If they don't, they'll be stuck on the road. And nobody is going to help.

 

All this is because we all can't get together.

 

I'm pretty sure Volunteer Express disappeared a number of years ago and then reappeared a few years after that. I agree with the rest...get out now. Plenty of opportunities with good companies in and around Knoxville for drivers.

 

Well, I mean if they don't sell them off or whatever and just leave them sitting around...might as well see if they sell it for cheap, start yer own gig

 

Anybody know if Volunteer is a good company.. Where can I get an application. I am looking for a company I can stay with for the long-term. I just love driving so much, I would do it for free. Sounds like I might even have a choice of what truck I wanna drive.
