My bunk heater went out on my VNL 780 recently, but I cannot find anything about how to pull error codes for it, and on the main control panel, there aren't any options. I don't want to just start swapping parts willy nilly, does anyone have a clue how to pull up the error codes? Thanks in advance.

Not sure there are error codes on the bunk heater. It's a separate unit from the truck, in a sense, and I don't think it is part of the computer system. I'm not sure it even has any computer system controlling it. If the sleeper berth panel, where you control the bunk heater, doesn't give any kind of error codes, I just don't think they exist. However, I'm not sure. I have a VNL760 and my bunk heater stopped heating, no codes anywhere. I just took it to our shop and they fixed it. It was plugged up with hair.

Mine has a green light wired to the heater unit under the bunk. It blinks a certain number of times to indicate which error it is having.

Post a pic of your controller.
