I'm not sure but the factory actually has a pin on the computer for it ... You just can't get it from them OEM

Need advice on a 2007 D13 sputtering on uphill pulls. The DPF systems is completely new, new style conical injectors are in the engine. A new EGR valve was installed not long ago. The fuel is kinda dark at the fuel/water separator so I’m thinking maybe fuel lines are possibly deteriorating and restricting flow. Otherwise, I’m lost at what else to check. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thx!

They are setup for them... just not offered as factory option.

I just watched this video, on top of hard start, long cranking and black combustion soot in water separator this is what to look for, from video description;
"2012 Volvo D13 with injection cups leaking compression into the fuel tank through the return line and this is what it looks like in the passenger side tank while running high RPMs. This is after 2 cylinder head replacement. 2 sets of injectors and cups. I have no idea why. It only happens when hot. "
