Volvo I-Shift gear shift/slipping problem

Just had this exact same issue with the volvo I am currently driving. Now, it was a company truck, so all I had to do was take it to a volvo dealer. Now I know why the truck did that.
With me personally, the truck bounced around in reverse 1 just as OP described, having a loaded trailer on would make the issue blaringly obvious, but wouldn't really show up while bobtailing.

 

Hii how did you solve your transmission problem?

 

Trucks takes a while to switch from 2.nd to 3rd gear (rpms keeping revving high) once it switch to 3rd the test of the gears are fine

i have a semi auto eaton with clutch
trying to figure out the problem

 

I had an issue with mine reving to shift gears. Turned out my rear motor mounts were shot. Guess it was just enough of a sag sort of that something wasn't meshing as it should.
